Vintage Very Rare Pelikan Magnum  "EMEGE" Fountain Pen
The Pelikan Magnum is a very interesting and special pen,
Pelikan Magnum is the predecessor of Pelikan 100N. It's half way between Pelikan 100 and 100N.
The pen was only sold to Portugal. It is not known, why this special model was introduced there and not in  any other markets.
Emege stands for M (Eme) + G (gê), the initials of the general importer for Portugal, Monteiro Guimarães (respectively the company Monteiro Guimarães, Filho, Lda.).
It is a very rare model produced only in a short period of time and sold only to Portugal, There is a shipping notification by Pelikan  for 1600 Magnum fountain pens exported from Germany to Portugal dates from 31st of December, 1935 the Pelikan 100N apears on the market in 1937 so so the pelikan Magnum was most probably only produced during the year of 1935 and maybe 1936.
