    Description

    I have two pair of wonderful, original leather, studded parade horse Haines or Hames Scotch collar covers.  This auction is for ONE PAIR of Scotch collar tops.  You can purchase all four in two auction lots.  (The system will not allow me to insert the number of items I have.  So, for clarity, this auction is for one pair of scotch collar tops.  If you want the other pair, then we will have to make another buy it now for you).
    The leather patina is, in my opinion, just perfect!  Just the right amount of wear. The leather is remarkably soft and pliable for being about 100 years old.  Large, brass tack heads adorn the perimeter.  One collar top has a medallion as shown in the photos.
    They all measure approx 23” long and 9” inches wide (but can be spread wider, of course). As you can see in the photos they have some wear spots, missing stitching and scuffs, but please do remember that these are authentic 1920s to 1940s used items.  Again, beautiful pieces with patina that will display nicely as they are.
